The Letter
In 1990,I envisioned and brought to life what is now LuiLor, with my children still young and the hope in my heart that one day they would be by my side to support and carry forward this reality.
The dream has been realized, and for many years now, my children have embodied the past, present, and future of the company.
LuiLor is the initials of my children’s names, Luigi and Lorenzo, who not only represent our company’s brand but are also its pillars.
Luigi, concrete, solid, and reflective, takes care of the fashion sales and production, while Lorenzo, determined and with incredibly fast decision-making skills, handles the furniture sales.
We are an Italian textile company, designing and producing exceptional, rare fabrics exclusively in our Tuscan factory. Our experienced workforce ensures that each piece is handled, inspected, and delivered to the world.
We have 80 collaborators with proven experience and ability, who complete our creative and productive circle, ensuring that the final result is perfect in every sense, both aesthetically and qualitatively.
Creativity has been a defining characteristic of LuiLor since its very beginnings. Our textiles have been pioneers over the years, daring with new and captivating aspects, actively involving everyone who works in the company alongside our external partners.
Alessio Panerai, since the company’s founding, has expertly led the creative team.
More than just a textile technician, he has always been my right-hand man, my advisor, and a true friend, with an innate ability not only to lead our people but also to be an integral and key part of the team.
I’m incredibly enthusiastic and proud of the design team’s work, which has transformed into a genuinely creative and innovative machine, as I am about our weaving production and product control at all processing stages.
We sell an average of 30% in Italy and 70% abroad. Japan, the Netherlands, and the Scandinavian countries are managed by agents, one for each country, while for the rest of the world, the sales are handled by Lorenzo and Luigi, along with my nephew Niccolò, who joined the company four years ago and is already on the front line, and by Veggetti Umberto, who primarily handles the furniture industry.
Quality is a concept that is always sought after and complex to achieve, with a thousand variables that can always arise. However, I must admit, with a touch of pride, that we are now very close to the goal. Even though… there is always a new target to reach, the bar is constantly raised, because when it comes to quality, you never stop learning… never!
The combination of creativity and quality has enabled our company to grow and thrive over the years, standing out with professionalism and reliability in the global market, remaining resilient in the face of crises. In the past, Prato was known for its mass production, done at any cost; today, this has changed. Our LuiLor has been able to seize the moment, adapt to the ever-evolving world, and grow stronger, embodying the essence of Italian craftsmanship.
As a result, it has become a key reference in the global market, remaining faithful to producing beauty and quality, the true Made in Italy.
By focusing on creative quality, our fabrics have made their mark in the world’s most prestigious furniture and fashion houses, valued and highly sought after.
Our dream continues to unfold, growing stronger as each day and year goes by.
